Abstract

MCNP4C program was used to simulate the relationship between the dose rate of 纬-rays after exposure to lead锛?1.34g/cm3锛夛紝 iron锛?.86g/cm3锛夛紝 concrete锛?.35g/cm3锛?and water锛?.00g/cm3锛?with and without collimator with the thickness of these materials in this paper锛?the results show that some 纬-rays are absobed by the material and some 纬-rays are scattered in the materials when 纬-rays penetrate the shielding materials锛?and different shielding materials have different absorption and scattering probability of 纬-rays.With the increase of the thickness of the shielding layer锛宻cattering takes up a larger share of the dose rate received by the detector.The effect of geometric structure change of collimator on dose rate change after shielding with a certain thickness of shielding material is also simulated. The results show that the collimator will not reduce the scattering effect but increase the scattering contribution with the increase of depth-width ratio when the collimator depth-width ratio is <1.When the depth-width ratio of the collimator is between 1 and 7锛宼he influence of scattering on the measurement results is inhibited rapialy with the increase of depth-width ratio.When the collimator depth-width ratio is >7锛宎ll the scattered 纬-rays can be absorbed by the collimator.It is proved that MCNP is a good method to study 纬-ray scattering.
