Welcome to Putian. It is located at the center of the Fujian province which is a beautiful city with over three million people. I have heard from Sam that its population is more than the Dallas` in US. However, Putian can only be called a small city in China because there are many cities which are much bigger than it. Putian is similar to any other cities in China because more and more large modern buildings are being built. Also,it has many natural and cultural sceneries. Firstly, all the newcomers should visit the Meizhou island which is the hometown of the sea goddess Mazu. There are also many beautiful temples for Mazu. This is the statue of Mazu and it is 14 matters tall. That is an endless expense of golden beaches. Last term, all of our classmates went there. We chased each other on the beach and played with the seawater. We had a good time .
