In the spring of 1904 in Manchester, the son of a miller’s who was named Frederick Henry Royce met a peer who was named Charles Stewart Rolls. Rolls was very interested in Royce’s newly-made car, and then they began their business of making cars, and the company was named after them which was called Rolls Royce. He once said that the prize of cars might be soon forget, but the quality of cars must be last long.
