由三所大学合并而成的阿尔托大学将拥有多个校区，其中主校区位于首都地区的赫尔辛基和埃斯波，分别是赫尔辛基特勒的原赫尔辛基经济学院校区、赫尔辛基阿拉比阿（Arabia）的原赫尔辛基艺术设计大学校区、以及埃斯波奥塔涅米（Otaniemi）的原赫尔辛基理工大学校区。但伴随着三所大学的融合，阿尔托大学的校区结构将做出调整。赫尔辛基和埃斯波两个城市展开了竞争，双方都争取让阿尔托大学的更多机构设在本市境内。

阿尔托大学艺术设计学院位于被称为“艺术设计之城”的Arabianranta。赫尔辛基市要求所有在Arabianranta地区的开发商投入1～2%的房屋建筑投资投入到该位置的艺术作品。这条规定被跟进自从2002年该地区开发计划的进行，在Arabianranta中的50个艺术项目进入了不同阶段的建设。
艺术是形成一个地区特色的重要因素，艺术设计学院运营着Arabia这座旧工厂的设施，和在该地区的其他与艺术相关的教育机构。 Otaniemi
阿尔托大学理工学院位于距离赫尔辛基市中心10公里的埃斯博（Espoo）的Otaniemi，该校园是由（阿尔托）Alvar Aalto先生亲手设计。Otaniemi拥有全北欧最集中的高科技区，在这个小区内独特地结合了教育，研究和商务。

阿尔托大学商学院位于赫尔辛基市中心的Toolo;的赫尔辛基商学校区。 校区所在地凝聚了大学水平的商学和管理学教育与智慧，也是阿尔托大学商学院与Hanken瑞典语经济与管理学院所在地。
赫尔辛基商学校区代表全芬兰和赫尔辛基最优秀的商学和管理学，该校区有大量的单位，每一个单位都有各自的特色和文化，但都结合在各自的专业领域。
