一、本科：
1、托福需达到90以上（建议100以上）或者雅思7。
2、SAT成绩在2000以上（新生平均SAT：2110-2390）。
3、GPA最低要求：3.3（新生平均GPA：3.85）。
二、研究生：
申请哈佛大学研究生无统一托福最低成绩要求，以教育学院为例子，要求托福最低申请成绩最低总成绩不低于104分，其中听说读写各个单项不得低于26分；要求雅思最低申请成绩总分不低于7.5分，听说读写各单项不得低于7.5分。（要求申请人GRE General成绩的语文部分低于50%，数学部分低于30%，分析性写作低于3.5分，那么录取的几率会很小）。文理学院研究生院只接受托福考试，不接受其他，该学院要求申请人最低托福成绩为80分。
