another,other,the other,one the other,others的区别

another就是指“另一个”,在不确定总数的情况下用another,或者总数一定大于2也用another比如 The washing machine was broken。So I bought another one。other要跟名词一起用,而且名词通常是复数形式,表示“剩下的所有”比如 Some are playing basketball,other students are watching them。the other 指的是“两者中的另外一个”比如 I'm holding an apple in my left hand,and a bar of chocolate in the other。one the other 是个词组,指的也是“两者中的一个,另一个”比如 There's two students playing basketball。One is trying to shoot,the other is defensing。others 意思同 other 是一样的,都是“剩下所有”,只是 others 不加名词,同样也是复数指代比如 Some students are in the lab while others are on the playground。
