join与attend区别

join是“参加”,参加某个组织,团体,并成为其中一员,如join the army“参军”,join the Party“入党”等。而attend 为“出席”,出席会议,晚会等活动,还可以表示上课attend class,上学attend school,听报告attend the report,看电影attend the movie等
