谁知道prepare和prepare for 用法有什么区别啊

1）prepare: 准备,后接直接准备的对象,谓语动作直接体现在宾语上。eg。 Mother is preparing lunch。（母亲正在准备午饭。）2）prepare for: 为……作准备,for 后的宾语为准备的目的。eg。 The students are preparing for the exam。（学生们正在为考试作准备。）3）prepare……for……为……作准备……）
