At present, only a small number of students do some reading after class. Here are some reasons.
Quite a lot of students have to do too much homework every day. Still others haven’t formed a habit of reading. They would rather spend their spare time on TV or on the Internet.
However reading has many advantages. Through reading, we can learn more about the world. Besides, it can help us think better. Last but not least, reading can make our life more colourful.
Here are some suggestions. For one thing, teachers should reduce the amount of homework so that we can have more time to read. For another, it’s a good idea to form reading clubs and learn from each other.
