There are good and bad professors

I have been in mostly general education classes atHeidelberg University so far. It seems that you really enjoy the class andteacher, or you really cant stand the class or teacher. Some teachers arereally engaging, keep students attention and get to know the students. Wheresome teachers are hard to understand, either in their speech or teaching ways,are really dry in class discussion and dont seem to put a lot of effort inteaching students on a personal level. There is a pretty heavy workload but ifyou keep your priorities straight its possible to balance it all. Theregistration process is online which is easy for me but to others it can bedifficult. Overall I think Heidelberg has some great professors and classes andsome that need great change.

The Math department isn't that great at Heidelberg and Iwas thoroughly dissapointed in it. It has also made me second guess my major inMathematics. The teacher doesn't do well in explaining the material andultimately confuses me more then teaches me.
