学校简介
肯特大学在1965年获得皇家荣誉，成为60年代在英格兰成立的七所新建校园大学之一。
肯特大学体现了文化的多样性，自称为英国的欧洲大学，和欧洲大陆100多所大学有着广泛和长久的合作关系。肯特大学现有19,000余名学生，12%的学生来自欧洲以外，共代表了世界上125个国家。

院系设置
肯特大学共有三个院系，人文学系，工程技术与医疗研究学系和社会科学系。各系分别设立了各种灵活的荣誉学位课程，授予文科学士、 工商管理学士、法学学士、理科学士和工科学士等。肯特大学还开设了语言预备课程。预科基础课程讲授英语及为本科阶段学习打基础的专业提高课程，为学生可以进入本科学习而做准备。
