学校简介
诺丁汉大学在1881年始建于英国诺丁汉市，于1948年荣获皇家特许状。学校是国际顶尖研究型大学团体U21的创始成员之一。诺丁汉大学常年列踞世界各大排行榜前百，是英国学生和世界留学生最向往的大学。它是英国最强进大学集团罗素集团的成员。

诺丁汉大学是一所综合性大学，设有59个学系，分属于5个学院：艺术学院，法律与社会学院，科学院，工程学院，医疗保健学院。
诺丁汉大学拥有7座图书馆，藏有各种专业资料。校内有各种体育设施，如室内游泳池，网球场，垒球场，田径场，专门建造的室内体育中心等。
目前，在校研究生有5,230人，本科生24,334人，来自150多个国家和地区的留学生有9,129人，我国世界乒乓球冠军邓亚萍曾在此校学习，并获得硕士学位。诺丁汉大学有多个校区分布在英国本土以及两个海外校区分别在中国宁波和马来西亚。
