全国各民族人民和全世界有爱心的民众正在为四川汶川大地震受灾的人们伸出援助之手, 天津二中全体师生于日前也为灾区人民捐款数万元，我们国际部教师，特别是日本国教师冈本绢子女士也为灾区人民献出爱心。
另外远在美国的我们的友好校Ｌｅｗｉｓｔｏｎ－Ｐｏｒｔｅｒ Ｈｉｇｈ Ｓｃｈｏｏｌ曾经来我校访问过的校长Ｍｒ．Ｃａｓｓｅｒｉ先生也致电问候我校师生及了解我校的情况，并提出他们部分师生也希望为我国灾区人民捐款。

We have all heard and seen the reports of the devastation from the earthquake in your country. Did you feel the quake in Tianjin? I hope everybody is well. Many students have approached me about raising money to send to China for the victims. can I forward that to you. Would you be able to move it on the appropriate agency for disaster relief.
