词性不同，at last是副词，last是名词、动词、形容词。意思不同，at last的意思为最后，等于finally，in the end，与at first相对。last意思为最后的，与first相对。
at last和finally的区别
finally既可以用于表示时间位置（相当于at last,in the end），也可以用于表示时间的先后顺序（如同first,second,third,next,then,last），这种用法的finally相当于to conclude。at last只能指时间位置，不能指时间顺序，而且在语义上是指经过周折，等待，耽搁的“终于”,“最后”。例如：
1)Finally the “International” was sung.
最后唱了国际歌。
2)What decision did you finally arrived at?
你们最终做出了什么样的决定？
3)At last man learnt how to make the right machine to carry him through the air.
人类终于学会了/掌握了制造载人穿越太空的理想器械的技术。
4)At last the confusion was cleared.
这种混乱状况终于澄清了。
