锦州医科大学（Jinzhou Medical University），简称锦医大， 学校地处渤海之滨，坐落于辽宁西部历史文化名城—锦州，是经国家教育部批准成立的普通高等学校。[1]学校前身为辽宁医学院，办学历史最早可追溯至1946年在吉林省洮南市成立的辽吉军区卫生学校，1949年迁址辽宁省锦州市，1958年成立锦州医学院，2006年更名为辽宁医学院，2016年，更名为锦州医科大学。[1][2]校园总占地面积994987.60㎡。有22个本科专业，8个一级学科硕士学位授权点，59个二级学科硕士学位授权点，5个硕士专业学位授权点；学校现有教职医护员工3612人，全日制在校生12912人，其中本科生7498人。[3][4]

Jinzhou Medical University, referred to as Jinzhou Medical University, is located in Jinzhou, a famous historical and cultural city in the western part of Liaoning Province, on the coast of the Bohai Sea. It is a general institution of higher learning approved by the Ministry of Education. [1] Liaoning Medical College, formerly known as Liaoning Medical College, can be traced back to the Liaoji Military Region Health School which was set up in 1946 in Taonan City, Jilin Province. In 1949, the school was moved to Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province. In 1958, Jinzhou Medical College was founded, and was renamed as Liaoning Medical College in 2006. The campus covers a total area of 994987.60 square meters. The university offers 22 undergraduate programs, 8 master's degree programs in first-level disciplines, 59 master's degree programs in second-level disciplines, and 5 professional master's degree programs. At present, there are 3612 medical staff and 12,912 full-time students, including 7,498 undergraduates. [3] [4]
