山东艺术学院（Shandong University Of Arts），简称山艺，位于山东省济南市，由中华人民共和国文化和旅游部与山东省人民政府共建，山东省省级博士立项建设单位、山东省一流学科建设高校、山东特色名校工程重点建设高校，国家”特色重点学科项目“建设高校，全国普通高校中华优秀传统文化传承基地，具有硕士研究生推免资格高校。[1][2]
学校创办于1958年前为山东艺术专科学校，1978年12月，经国务院批准，学校改建为山东艺术学院。2001年11月，山东省戏曲学校并入山东艺术学院。[2]
截至2019年12月，学校有济南文东和长清两个校区，占地1313亩，其中长清校区1200亩。学校占地总面积875493平方米，建筑总面积369363平方米。开31个本科专业，学校有专任教师662人，具有研究生学位（硕士和博士）的专任教师512人，全日制在校生10823人。

Shandong University Of Arts (SHANDONG UNIVERSITY OF ART), referred to as SHANDONG UNIVERSITY, is located in Jinan City, Shandong Province. It is jointly built by the Ministry Of Culture and Tourism, PRC and the Shandong Provincial People's Government. It is a provincial doctor project construction unit, a first-class discipline construction University and a key construction University Of Shandong Characteristic School Project. It is a national university with "Key Discipline Program with Characteristics", a national base for the inheritance of excellent traditional Chinese culture for ordinary colleges and universities, and a university with the qualification of exemption for postgraduate students. The school was founded in 1958 for the Shandong Art College, in December 1978, approved by the State Council, the school was transformed into the Shandong Institute of Arts. In November 2001, Shandong Opera School was merged into Shandong Art Institute. [2]
As of December 2019, the university has two campuses, Jinan Wendong Campus and Changqing Campus, covering an area of 1313 mu, of which the Changqing Campus covers 1,200 mu. The school covers a total area of 875,493 square meters, with a total building area of 369,363 square meters. The university offers 31 undergraduate programs and has 662 full-time teachers, 512 full-time teachers with master's or doctor's degrees, and 10,823 full-time students.
