中国海洋大学（中国海大、海大，Ocean University of China），创建于1924年，坐落于山东省青岛市。该大学是教育部直属全国重点大学，“世界一流大学”“985工程”“211工程”重点建设高校。该校入选“2011计划”“111计划”“卓越工程师教育培养计划”“卓越农林人才教育培养计划”“国家大学生创新性实验计划”“国家建设高水平大学公派研究生项目”“新工科研究与实践项目”、中国政府奖学金来华留学生接收院校，为中欧精英大学联盟、北极大学、国际南极学院、国际涉海大学联盟成员。[1]
中国海洋大学前身是创办于1924年的私立青岛大学，1930年在省立山东大学和私立青岛大学基础上成立国立青岛大学。后历经国立山东大学、山东大学时期，1958年山东大学主体迁往济南，以留青的海洋系、水产系、地质系、生物系等为基础，于1959年3月成立山东海洋学院。1981年11月，成为全国首批博士和硕士学位授予单位。1988年更名为青岛海洋大学，2002年更名为中国海洋大学。

Ocean University of China (Ocean University of China, Ocean University of China), founded in 1924, is located in Qingdao, Shandong Province. The university is a national key university directly under the administration of the Ministry of Education, and a key university under the construction of "World First-Class University", "Project 985" and "Project 211". The university has been selected as one of the host institutions of "2011 Program", "111 Program", "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program", "Excellent Agricultural and Forestry Talents Education and Training Program", "National Innovative Experiment Program for College Students", "State-sponsored Graduate Program of National Construction of High-level University", "New Engineering Research and Practice Program", and the host institutions of Chinese Government Scholarship for Foreign Students. It is a member of the Union of Chinese and European Elite Universities, the Arctic University, the International Antarctic Institute, and the International Alliance of Sea-Related Universities. [1]
Ocean University of China, formerly known as the private Qingdao University, was founded in 1924. In 1930, the National Qingdao University was founded on the basis of the provincial Shandong University and the private Qingdao University. After the period of National Shandong University and Shandong University, the main body of Shandong University was moved to Jinan in 1958, and Shandong Ocean College was founded in March 1959 on the basis of the departments of oceanography, aquatic products, geology and biology, etc. In November 1981, it became one of the first batch of institutions granting doctoral and master's degrees in China. It was renamed Ocean University of Qingdao in 1988 and Ocean University of China in 2002.
