Hi! 大家好哇！看完句子后记得思考：句子中有几个谓语动词？包含了几件事？请看：
1. 单词和词组aim to v. 旨在
woody adj. 木本的；木质的
*wood n. 木材；木；木头
remove sb/sth (from sb/sth) v. 移开，拿开，去掉
lock sth away/up v. 把…收好并锁起来
in the form of… 以…的形式
biofuel n. 生物燃料
run on v. 继续
fossil fuel n. 化石燃料
2. 拆分句子①标点符号：, . ! : — 等
②连接词：and, but, or, that, which......
a. 标点符号拆分：# 大家会发现这么长的句子一个标点都没有。
不用着急，用了“[ ]”把介词短语包起来，先不看，剩下的内容就是句子的主干和从句了。
b. 连接词拆分：开头“The strategy also aims to ensure that…”，引导词“that”在动词“ensure”后，故此处是动宾-宾语从句，可以拆分。
在上面的宾语从句中“carbon in woody material removed from the forests is…”，谓语动词是“is”，故“removed”是非谓语动词，此处是过去分词短语“removed from the forests”作后置定语修饰“material”，省略了“which is”，如图：
连接词“or”后面是“burned as…”，由于连接词连接的前后需要是相同的词性和时态，故此处“locked away…”和“burned as…”是平行结构。
在“in vehicles that…”中，引导词“that”引导的从句中缺少主语，故此处是定语从句，修饰“vehicles”，可以拆分。
c. 连接词拆分后：3. 分析句子经过上面的拆分后，可以得到句子的主干：
主句："The strategy also aims to ensure that carbon … is locked away … or burned as biofuel in vehicles"
定语从句："that would otherwise run on fossil fuels. "
d. 句子的结构：e. 译文：该战略还旨在确保 从森林中移除的木质材料中的 碳 以固体木材的形式 储存起来，或作为生物燃料 在原本使用化石燃料的车辆中 燃烧。
f. 总结：1. "aim to" v. 旨在
The new management techniques aim to improve performance.新的管理技术旨在提高效率。2. "remove sb/sth (from sb/sth)" v. 移开，拿开，去掉
Filters do not remove all contaminants from water.过滤器无法过滤掉水中的所有污染物。3. "lock sth away/up" v. 把…收好并锁起来
