再问： regret to do都是表将要发生的是吗？那这题 I regret __you that Tom failed the exams and he regretted __ your advice。 第一空to tell没问题。可是第二空为什么是 not following,而不是not to follow？ 翻译成他很遗憾没有听取你的建议（他当时将要听取？），还是说它的否定形式错了？
再答： 没听建议 这个事实已经发生了啊， 先是没听建议，之后后悔！
