as much as 8 hours?"8 hours ”是可数的啊,为什么用much呢?而不是as many as 8 hours?我还见过一句“as much as 100 dollars” ,字典上还有“as much as 10 degrees(摄氏度)”这些都是为什么呢?原句：he is addicted to playing computer games and spends as much as 8 hours everyday.

这么写是因为把一段时间当作抽象的整体看,例如：
--How much time do you spend on your study?
--Eight hours。
或者把温度计数当作一个整体,例如：
--What is the temperature?
--Ten degrees centigrade。
所以形式上要配合,就要用as much as,相当于The time I spend on my study is as much as 8 hours; The temperate is sa much /high as ten degrees centigrade。
--How much time do you spend on your study?
--Eight hours。
或者把温度计数当作一个整体,例如：
