I'm Lihua,a senior middle school student。
I'm glad that i have won the first prize in the Spoken English Contest among Senior Middle Schools in our city。
In order to learn it well, apart from English class, I took an active part in English corner and other after-class English activities, which benefit me a lot。
I often take part in the English Corner and practice speaking English。 There are many participants in the corner and we can talk about any topics in English。 By doing this, I have improved my pronunciation and intonation。 Most important of all, I have conquered my shyness and timidness。 I can talk to anybody boldly in English。 So I didn't feel nervous in the contest at all。
At the same time I insist on watching English News on China Daily and CCTV-9。 Learning English depends on reading widely and largely。 I benefit much from the reading。 Also keeping diaries in English every day is a good habit。 I will try my best to bring what I have learnt to use。 Thus my knowledge has been reviewed and enlarged。
These're my three main learning methods of learning English after class。 They are helpful and convenient to me。 I hope they are also beneficial for you。
