which is the best way to practise listening?

the way i did to improve my listening was by watching english video that i like many times。for example,i watched the whole southpark season three times。i watched it with chinese subtitle for the first time; then with english subtitle for the second time and without subtitle for the last time。basically,u just need to keep listening as often as u can。
this might seem a little bit obvious and simple but it really works。
