关于The Sound of Silence 寂静之声歌词的语法疑问

个人认为这里的歌词为了押韵,省略了一部分单词,改变了一下顺序。所谓独立主格,其中的名词应该和主句的主语不同啊--
这里的people 与主句的主语一致,不应该理解为独立主格。
个人看法：People talking without speaking 。People hearing without listening 。People writing songs that voices never share 。这三个结构是平行的,而且是可以放在Ten thousand people,maybe more 。中的people 后面做定语的。
There may be ten thousand people who are talking without speaking,hearing without listening and writing songs that voices nevershare。(改写为定于从句)
或者 There may be ten thousand people taking without speaking,hearing without listening,writing songs that voices nevershare。(动名词作定语)
