From the 1950s,western translation theory and linguistics synchronous developed basically。Translation theorist tend to use the perspective of linguistics to look upon translation。In 1960s and 1970s,Eugene A．Nida’s(1962) theory of equivalence is very prevalent。In 1964,Nida put forward three modes in the process of translating which is analysis,conversion and restructuring。In 1980s,Nida fixed the theory of dynamic equivalence and put forward an concept of functional equivalence in order to suit content and form。
