no!national entrance examination is by no means a best way for chinese univesities。i will support my view by listing the demerits of national entrance exams。to begin with ,as it known to all that this exam serves the chance for students to enter a university only for once。therefore ,it is no doubt that luck and gamble play critical role for every one 。this is especially true when the choice question takes a rather high proportion in a test。those who do not really know the answer can choose a correct answer even if they have no idea what they are doing 。on the other hand,students who used to work so hard ,and perform so well under normal conditions could make many mistakes due to their stress to meet their parents' and teachers' expectations for a key university,and ,they fall the examination is not unusual to see。secondly,national entrance exam itself has may flaws,it emphasis too much on a student's written works instead of oral express capability and practical abilities。this explains why the ancient chinese scolars are so pedantic(学究气,迂腐的),they know many poets and literal works ,but no nothing about common things in life。like Kong YIJI,they are laghed at by ordinary people ,whereas,today's exam is much no different than that of the ancient times。to sum up,the current national examination has many shortcomings which is bad for chinese education as well as chinese universities for under such education system ,student will not be novel,creative。如果觉得观点还行,记得给分啊!
