OKLife in a British schoolHi everybodyMy name is John。I am in Year 8 at Woodland School near London。It is in a mixed school。Boys and girls have lessons together。My favourite subjects is Home Economics。I like learning how to do things for myself before I came to this school。Now,I know how to cook healthy and tasty meals。Our school has a Reading Week every year。During this year's Reading Weeks,I read the most books in my class。My classmates and I love our Reading Week。We can read any books from the school library。We can even bring in books and magazines from home,but we have to tell our English what we are reading。Near the end of each class we can talk to our classmates about our books。Reading Week is always too short beacuse we want to read all our classmates' books as well。Life in an American schoolHi guys I'm Nancy and I'm 14 years old。I'm in 9th grade at Rocky。Mountain High School in Denver。My brother's name is Jim。He is 17 years old。He had driving lessons in my school last year。Now,he drives me to school every day。This is great beacuse it takes less time than taking the bus。Twice a week,I play softball after school。I love this game and I spend a lot of time practicing。Every Monday,I go to a ‘buddy club’。In the Buddy Club,older students talk to new students about school life。I enjoy this a lot。My Buddy is Julie。She is a senior in 12th grade。She helps me learn all about my new school。She helps me with my homework and listens to my promles too。Julire is my hero。During lunchtime,I meet my friends and we always have a great time talking to each other。Sometimes,we go to shopping malls after school。终于打完了= =
