The ethics of China is based on Confucianism that sees the concept "humane" as the core。And our Chinese always believe that the finest level of ethics is to be careful of oneself when alone(慎独)。The foreigners ,especally American and European,have the spirit of chivalry(骑士精神) in their blood。They conside the highest degree of ethics is freedom。个人愚见
