Which should college students give priority to the sociality

If we could,for the sake of this discussion,loosely define sociality as “the state of socializing”,then the answer to the question depends on why we go to college。It is my contention that college is where we acquire the necessary skills and attributes to prepare us for future challenges。If so,then sociality or academic achievement should not be a binary choice。While academic achievements are critical to ensuring that we secure good employment after graduation,social connections will keep us in good stead in our careers and future development。The key is proper balance of both sociality and academic pursuits。Focusing on one to the exclusion of the other is detrimental to healthy personal development。
