英语选择题.这个空用other还是another?

On my (。。。other。)visit to this country last year I went to Birmingham。去年我又一次访问这个国家的时候我去了伯明翰。another 不能和my ,this ,等词连用,故只能用other 再问： Other后面能加单数吗？ 再答： 当然可以。两个中的另一个用 other。 I have two books 。 One is Chinese and the other （ book） is English other 也可以指其他的，后面用复数名词 many other countries 。 其他许多国家。再问： the other说两个中的一个我知道，但是other是泛指，题目中other visit没有the是因为有my了吗？去了my是不是就要改成other visits这样比较好了？ 再答： 有 my 就不能用 another ， 因为 another 你可以看成是 an+ other 。 这里要去掉my ，情况就变了， 我觉得 visit 要用单数还是复数，取决于去年访问了几次。也可能是 on another visit 。。。 也可能是 on the other visit , 还可能是 on the other visits
