（1）Not only is this young scientist intelling, but hardworking。不是说not only与but后所随成分应一致。这句明显不一致啊! 否定词not在前,句子倒装,not only修饰的是intelling,but修饰的是hardworking,成分一样。This young scientist is intelling and hardworking。（2）not only…but also…与not only…but…as well的用法的区别并举例。 两个意思一样吧。。第二个没有怎么见过。。He's not only smart but also handsome。He's not only smart but handsome as well。（3）Not only had the poor man been arrested,but he had been sent to prison as well。这是原句。 a。Not only had the poor man been arrested,but also he had been sent to prison。 b。Not only had the poor man been arrested,but he had also been sent to prison。哪句对。请说明理由。还有什么时候but also 要分开的?but also习惯上不分开,所以应该是a吧。
