We must allow for the train being late.请问为什么不是the train's?

用 the train's 肯定没错但要注意：动名词的复合结构,如果做介词宾语,这里是for,尤其是当逻辑主语是无生命的东西时（此句为the train),常用名词普通格代替所有格。再如：The noises of【 the desks being opened and closed】 could be heard out in the street。请在客户端右上角评价点“满意”即可, 再问： 可是书上也有一句：I am sure of the team's winning the game。 再答： 我说了呀， 都对！ 但做主语时，必须是名词所有格 如： The team's winning the game filled us with great pleasure。
