Let me begin with my speech to tell you an amusing story about an aged couple of my neighbors。They are now over sixty years old。They have ten daughters but any sons。They told me why they have so many female children。When they were in their childbearing period,how they longed for a son。When the wife was bearing the first child,she happened to show favoritism to sour food。The old saying goes,to prefer sourness to other seasons means a son will be born while to prefer piquant a daughter will be born。Unfortunately,God didn’t widen his view。To their surprise,this child was a daughter。The next year they had another daughter,and the year after the next year,they had the third。The couple refused to take such a fact lying down。They believed a son must be born the next of the next。However,the next of the next of the next,the children they procreated were all girls。As a result,they had been lived a hard life until most of their daughters got married。When they told their story to me,they laughed with sorrow。They said how silly they were to look forward to have a son。Why they determined to have a son?That is because of the traditional thoughts。Firstly,there goes a saying — the more sons,the more happiness。Besides,most of Chinese have a kind of conception:only a son can support his parents when they become aged。Thirdly,most of the leaders are males,and females are just subordinated the former。Maybe these are the reason why people in our country traditionally want to have a son。估计能够占足时间。自己先演练几次,实在不够在结尾处补充几句即可。
