英语翻译Achieving desired plant growth regulator levels in liquid plant tissueThis paper is part of a series considering the impactof activated carbon (AC) on the composition of planttissue culture media.Using liquid culture media for initiationof Norway spruce embryogenic tissue and eight differentACs,we present a method for achieving target plantgrowth regulator (PGR) levels in AC-containing mediumbased on sorption isotherms for individual PGRs.Linearrelationships were found between PGR adsorption and specificBET (Brunauer,Emmett,Teller theory) surface areaand specific total pore volume of AC.When using a newAC,this linear relationship allows one to achieve multiplePGR levels similar to historic levels through adjustmentof the mass of AC based on its relative BET surface areaor relative total pore volume.Target levels of PGRs andan initiation success similar to that in medium without ACwere achieved with several different AC types when ACmass was adjusted on the basis of pore volume.
