what about 是 什么什么怎么样的意思why not 是 为什么不在这里意思上好像都可以,但是what about后面接的是动词的ing形式[what（how） about doing。]如果换成why not 的话 你应该说 why not take a trainWhy not +动词原形,等同于Why don't you。,可用How/What about doing sth替换
