这间房子对于一个六个人的家庭来说太小了。句中too直接修饰形容词small,much则是修饰too的。so虽然后面可以直接跟形容词,但通常是用在以下几种情况中：1。表示感叹。例如：The house is so small。这所房子这么小啊!2。语that连用（1）so that表示目的例如：I can lend you my car so that you could get there earlier。我可以把我的车借给那你,这样你就能早点到达那里。（2）so。。。that。。。（so后面加原因,that后面界产生的后果）例如：The house is so expensive that I can't afford to buy it。这房子太贵了,所以我买不起。
