On Jane Eyre Charlotte Bronte(April 21,1816-March 31,1855) is the author of Jane Eyre,which I've read in the winter holiday。Charlotte Bronte was born in a simple family at Thornton,in Yorkshire,England and she was the third kid of six。Her childhood life was not easy and happy。Her mother died of cancer when Charlotte was only 5 years old and her father was just a poor pastor。But the father was well-educated,so he would always taught his children to study and it was their father that cultivated three Bronte sisters'interest of literature,whose novels have become famous classics of English literature。During one period,Charlotte and her sisters were sent to a school,where the conditions were extremely awful。However the hardship never broke down Charlotte。On the contrary,the more she suffered,the more she learned。Finally,Charlotte Bronte became a well-known novelist by writing Jane Eyre,Shirley,Villette,The Professor and so on。Jane Eyre,which I think is based on Charlotte her own experience,is her maiden work published in 1847。The heroine,a plain girl named Jane Eyre,burded with the misfortune of nature and society,starts her life to search for her dream。Her parents die when she is only a two-year-old baby,so she is sent to Geteshead,where live her aunt Mrs Reed and her three cousins。But Jane is always insulted by them。Eventually sent 10-year-old Jane to a school to study Bible。It's clear that the life there is also terrible,but Jane makes a good friend called Helen Burns。After studying and working in the school for eight years,Jane intends to leave in order to get more freedom and borden her herhonzon。Then Jane finds a job as a governess at Thornfield where she falls in love with the host,Mr Rochester。But on the day of their wedding,Jane is informed that their marriage is illegal because Mr Rochester has already a wife,a mad woman。Jane Eyre is so shocked。Although she still loves Mr Rochester deeply,she has no alternative but to live him。During the time when she is away from Thornfield,she takes over the treasure from her uncle。At the ending of the story,Jane returns to Thornfield because of her endless love for Mr Rochester,who also loves her much but loses his sight and gets wounded in a fire,which Jane never minds,and they then live a happy life together。Jane Eyre in this novel is a poor girl but she never gives in to the difficulties。I see her struggling for life,her toughness,her confidence and her self-respect。I also learn that the beauty on face may make people feel comfortable at first sight,but it's the inner beauty that lasts for long。Never complain of your unluck,please remember that all the people are equal in personality and God is really equal。My dear friend,your life is in your own hands and how to create it is decided all by yourself。Just do it and I know you can make it。
