英语里anything but,all but怎么用

anything but 从否定的角度看问题,all but 从肯定的角度看问题。具体用法如下： anything but 只有一种用法。     anything 是不定代词,可充当表语或宾语,but只能用作否定连词,合起来表示“除…之外任何方面都会…”或“根本不”,如： She is anything but a beauty。她一点也不漂亮。The problem is anything but easy。这个问题绝不容易。The actress' laugh in the play was anything but natural。在那出戏中那个女演员笑得极不自然, all but 有两种用法。    1、 共同构成副词短语,用来修饰动词,表示“差不多/几乎”,如： She all but fainted when she heard the news。听到那消息,她差点晕过去。The girl was all but crying with relief。那个女孩子快乐地差一点大叫起来。     2、all 为不定代词,可充当表语或宾语,but用作连词,表示“除了…之外（都）”,如： I knew them all but one。 除了一个我不认识之外,其余的人我都认识。（要不是有一个人例外的话,我差一点都认识）Her birthday was unnoticed by all but herself。除了她自己没人注意她的生日。（要不是她自己外差一点没人注意她的生日）
