Have you ever seen the movie Avatar?Probably,we can realize the imagination in this film 500 years later,estabishing a city on an extraterrestrial planet。Certainly,it is impossible for us to survive in space merely by our inborn power。Physiological reactions,such as muscle atrophy and flatulence,make it unfulfillable。Landing on Venus,we will be melted by the high temperature; while on Mars,we will be frozen stiff。With the economic development of a certain degree,we could artificially make transformation,including atmospheric environment,temperature difference and water content,for the planet we intend to live on。But this would cost tremendous menpower and material resources as well as time。As far as I am concerned,the most effective solution is to upgrade the human physical abilities,that is to say,we are not going to terraform the universe,but to universalize we human beings。Maybe someday,we can transform human into intelligent beings just like the ones in Avatar,who are physically strong and can easily adapt to the surroundings。At that time,our sense of aesthetics may also change。
