other的用法 other,others,the other,anther的区别

other 形容词,后接复数名词,泛指其余的人或物。others 代词,相当于other+复数名词。如：Some people like walking。Some like running。Others like swimming。有些人喜欢散步,有些人喜欢跑步,其他人喜欢游泳。(这里“其他人”并非其他所有的人。) He is always ready to help others。他总是乐于助人。the other 后接单数或复数名词,表示在一定范围内的其余所有的人或物。the others 相当于 the other+ 复数名词。One of his parents is a doctor。The other (one) is a teacher。他的父母其中一个是医生,另一个是教师。Thirty of them are boy students and the others are girls。他们当中三十人是男生,其他人是女生。another 后接单数名词,泛指三者或三者以上的人或物,译为“又一个,再一个”；后接数词+ 复数名词,泛指另外几个人或物。如：another two days 另外两天 another three chairs另外三把椅子 After the boy ate one apple,he asked for another (one)。小孩吃完一个苹果后又要了一个。I will stay here for another two weeks。我将在这里再呆两周。one after another 一个接一个 When class was over,the students left the classroom one after another。下课后,学生们一个接一个地离开了教室。
