Yes, every day I attend classes which are taught in either Japanese or English; In leisure time, I can watch Japanese cartoons and American movies to know more about their cultures and enjoy the pure languages in other nations. To master two or more than two kinds of languages has become a fashionable way of living. Perhaps you will ask why. Why is bilingual fashionable? We can read newspapers in Chinese, we can watch movies and cartoons which have been translated into Chinese, and we can even have an interpreter around us when we have to chat with a foreigner. Have you ever thought about that there are so many differences between the original material and a translation. And you can hardly feel the tone---iconic or humorous ---in a translated version. Have you ever sensed the indifference of a foreign reporter which you can hardly recognize in a Chinese version? Have you ever secretly admired those who can talk freely with foreign people and make friends all over the world? If your answer is yes, it means that you have already admitted bilingual is another kind of lifestyle. Just imagine this. When you are walking down the street and receive a call from one of your foreign friends, you talk to him over phone in Japanese. When your mother is confused about the instructions of the new electronic equipment written in Japanese, you translate it for her and she will be proud of you. It sounds very cool, isn’t it? Bilingual has become a new fashion in the 21st century. People all over the world are learning foreign languages; of course, among them there is a large amount of foreigners are learning Chinese. You can just adapt yourself to this new lifestyle and enjoy life to the fullest! We enjoy the process of learning a second language and we will definitely enjoy more of the process, if we are not only learning but also putting the language into our soul.
