When I was a kid, receiving "hong bao" was one of the most exciting things. At the end of every lunar year, it is customary in China to give children "hong bao". Although there is small sums of money, it contains love and the best wishes from parents and older relatives. With techonology developing, the old tradition also has a new ,fresh way of playing the game.
It is now possible to exchange "red envelopes" only by using smart phone, The electronic red envelopes have changed the idea about "hong bao" in China. As we all know, it was only older relatives who would give children, and only around the new year. But now, we are not limited by identity or the time of year. It's really crazy! Almost everybody shakes their phone and never gets tired from doing it. And I believe you are also a member of them.
Maybe there are a lot of people thinking it doesn't obey the tradition, especially the old. However, as far as I'm concerned, this is exactly what techonology brings to us .It expands the people who give the "hong bao" and breaks the limit of the time and distance, which makes the feast more interesting. Even though I am far away from you, I can also express my wishes to you. Everybody is happy and everywhere is in an atmosphere of excitement and craziness.
I believe that the electronic red envelope is only a little thing that techonology brings to us. As time goes by, our life must be better and brighter.
