Red packets are symbolically handed out to younger generations by their parents，grandparents，relatives, close neighbors and friend. Sending and receiving a red envelope is a traditional custom in China. The original red culture is a kind of interpersonal relationship from Chinese reciprocity. However, this custom has been socialized .
As far as I am concerned, if people are addicted to grabing a red envelope madly, it will lose its ture meaning. These days, in order to grab a red envelope, people are staring at the phone, forgetting all the suroundings. I’m afraid this main reason is that they want to get the money. As for me, I do not care about the money , because I miss the traditional meaning of red envelopes in my childhood.
Therefore, people should try to realize the real meaning of grabing a red envelope and make it have a good effect on our society.
