any other是指在同一范围内除了某人或某物以外的其他人或事物，any other后跟单数名词，也可以说any of the other+复数名词。
any other的用法
1、any作“一些”讲时，any other 后接可数复数或不可数名词。
例句：
Are there any other questions?
还有没有其他问题?
We're so busy that no one can be spared for any other work.
我们是一个萝卜一个坑，腾不出人手来。
2、any作“任何一个”讲时，any other 后接名词单数
例句：
Saudi Arabia produces more oil than any other country.
沙特阿拉伯的石油产量高于其他任何国家。
3、“当比较对象为复数名词时，肯定句中any other后亦可以接名词的复数形式(为口语或非正式英语)”
例句：
Are you taking any other drugs at present? 你现在有服用别的药吗?
注：any other后一般即可跟可数名词复数，也可跟可数名词单数，但是在“than any other”结构中，如果前面的主语是单数，后面的被比较对象只用单数：
例句：
Tim works much harder than any other empolyee in his factory. Tim 比他们工厂里的任何人工作都努力的多得多。
如果在“than any other”结构中，主语是复数，则any other+复数形式：
例句：
They perform better than any other classmates in the class.
他们比任何其他同班同学表现得都好。(= 他们是全班最好的。）
