in front of和in the front of的区别：in front of 在.......的前面(物体外部），in the front of 在...的前面（物体内部）。

in the front of 和 in front of 都表示“在.....前面”的意思。但用法不同：

1、in front of 强调在某一物体外部的前面。如：

in front of classroom（在教室这个建筑的前面（教室的外面））

The dog is in front of thecar. 狗在车前。

2、in the front of 强调在某一物体内部的前面。如：

in the front of classroom(在这个教室的前面（里面））
